This week Ascension welcomes the visit of the cruise liner MS Prinsendam. The ship, which forms part of the Holland America Line fleet, is calling here as part of a 113-day world voyage, beginning and ending in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Following the approval in March by DFID Ministers and the Executive Council of a project to develop air access to St Helena, a DFID team will be visiting St Helena from 24 April to 1 May to work closely with SHG on progressing project implementation.
