1: Press Release - Bonus for 99 SHG Employees - Ascension (Government) - 10.07.2008

The St Helena Government has awarded £50 bonuses to 99 members of staff. This includes all persons who were involved in carrying out, in adverse weather conditions, the recent clean-up operations necessitated by the flash floods.

3: Blasting Operation - A Success - Ascension (Government) - 06.07.2006

Shortly after the arrival of the Queen Atlantis in January, it was discovered that below the surface of the water near the landing were rocks that could be a hindrance to the boat due to the modified draft.

4: MEETING OF THE ASCENSION ISLAND COUNCIL HELD ON 26 June 2006 - Ascension (Government) - 06.07.2006

The meeting was opened by Governor Clancy via teleconference link and extended his congratulation to Mrs Raxa Sukhtankar on her award of an OBE.
