ASCENSION ISLAND GOVERNMENT

PUBLIC NOTICE

Owning a dog is a big responsibility and it is every owner’s duty to clean up after their dog in a public place.

Most of us have come across dog fouling on public footpaths, on our beaches, in our parks and in our school grounds.

Dog fouling looks bad, smells bad and is offensive to local people and visitors.  Anyone who has stepped in dog faeces knows that it is dirty, smelly and difficult to clean off your shoe which is unpleasant and embarrassing.

Be a responsible dog owner.  Carry a bag pick up your dog faeces and dispose of it safely in a bin.

Keep our environment clean and safe.
