Ascension : From The Editor - Louise
Submitted by The Islander (Islander Editors) 15.12.2011 (Article Archived on 29.12.2011)

Hello Readers, This is my final stint as an editor of the Islander.

Hello Readers

This is my final stint as an editor of the Islander. I have really enjoyed my association with the paper and all of the varied tasks that go along with the job. If I had to pick out a highlight, it has to be my interview with Robson Green.  Pretending to be a real journalist was amazing fun and he said that my questions were thought-provoking, which I think was a compliment.

Thanks to all of the people that I ‘interviewed’ over the months as Your Own Correspondent.  Hopefully someone else will take up the reins and catch up with those of you who escaped my clutches for one reason or another.

I have had a wonderful learning experience during my time on Ascension and I am fortunate to say that I have made some great friends along the way. I am going to miss so many things about my time with them and this unique place.

Enjoy this week’s packed edition and Happy Christmas to one and all
