On Friday 11Th February 2011, the following candidates were nominated to stand for election:

On Friday 11Th February 2011, the following candidates were nominated to stand for election:
Mr Howard Peters Miss Toni Bendall
Mrs Ann Miller Mrs Faith Thomas
Mr Neil Lawrence Mrs Catherine Harris Cranfield
Ms Keturah George
Seven candidates have been nominated, but only Five are required for the Island Council.
You can vote for one candidate or for any number of candidates up to a maximum of five.
Election Day will be on Friday 25th February 2011.
Polling Stations will be open from 8am to 8pm at the following venues: Mountain View Club, Travellers Hill; the Library at the USAF Base; Saints Club, Georgetown and Two Boats Club.
When the Polling Stations close at 8pm, the sealed ballot boxes will be transported to the Court House in Georgetown where the official count will take place to determine membership of the Island Council for the next three years.
