Ascension : News from Two Boats School
Submitted by The Islander (Christopher Short) 23.09.2010 (Article Archived on 07.10.2010)

Congratulations to our new Head Boy and Head Girl

Laura Stroud and Kieran Yon have been appointed as our Head Girl and Head Boy for the academic year. These important Student Leadership positions will support the school and I look forward to working with the two of them in the coming months.

Laura and Kieran being congratulated by Mr Short on their appointment as Head Girl and Head Boy.

Kieran says “It is a huge honour to represent Two Boats School as Head Boy. I will continuously look forward to hearing the views of the students and will thoroughly enjoy working with them, making the school a better environment for them to grow and mature in, based upon their views”.

Christopher Short

Headteacher

“Being Head Girl is an honour in the school and is a great achievement. Together with the Head Boy, I look forward to trying to make the school a better environment for the rest of the students based upon their opinions” says Laura.

Flag for Ascension

Two Boats School children have joined many other members of the community in giving feedback to The Administrator on the two proposed flag designs. The TBS students are split quite evenly but we’re all excited to see the final finished flag flying on the island.
