Brooke and I would like to say “Thank You” to the Doctors and Nurses of the Georgetown Hospital for being there and caring for Darren during the very short period of time he attended the hospital and leading up to his sudden death on June 17th 2010.

A huge thank you must go to Adrian Henry (Kenny) who was stopped un-expectedly by a member of the hospital staff to give a helping hand to get Darren to the hospital immediately.
To Patsy-Ann, Melvyn, Auntie Winnie and family, who also grieved the loss of dear Darren but stood there from the very beginning to the end, thank you all very much.
To my sister Karina and Donny, Tracey Williams, Clare Grey, Tracey Thomas (Bo), Annis and family, I really can’t thank you all enough!
Stephanie, Peter and Sebastian and Vicki and my loving son Farron thank you all for coming to Ascension Island to support Brooke and myself and the rest of the families.
Also to Peter Williams, Robert Anthony, Bobby- Jo and staff, Gerald March, Kevin Wade, Bobby Leo, David Lawrence, Ian Thomas and Jamie Maggott. Thank you all very much for arranging everything leading up to and on Wednesday 23rd June, when our loved one was laid to rest!
To Nicky Herne, Thank you so much for the Dumbbell cross you so kindly made. The effort and the detail you put into it was overwhelming. It was beautiful.
A special “Thank You” to Amelia Knipe and Patrick for organising the funeral service, it would not have happened without you.
Thank you, Anita and Alan for gathering all the information on Darren and putting the Eulogy together. Your support was greatly appreciated.
Thanks also to Canon Clive Duncan, and Mr Alan Nicholls for taking the funeral service and to Mr Johnny Hobson for reading the Eulogy and my daughter Michelle’s farewell message, who was unable to be with us at this time.
To Susie-Gal and staff of the Saints Members Club, thanks for putting on the A Wake. The Farewell Display Board was very special to us, thank you so much.
Finally to anyone else we have not mentioned a great big thank you to each and everyone of you. Also to everyone who sent cards, emails, made phone calls, gave floral tributes and to all who attended the funeral we cannot thank you enough.
On Sunday we finally found the strength to sit and read each and every message of sympathy.
We were and we still are overwhelmed with the amount of support and kindness everyone has given and shown to us during this saddest time in our life.
Words cannot express our many, many thanks we owe to each and every one of you for the ongoing support you are giving both Brooke and I.
Darren, a loving husband and father has gone from our lives. He will be greatly missed.
