Ascension : SPONSORED 24 HOUR SCUBA-THON

Calling out to all scuba divers on island.

   


Ascension divers are planning a sponsored 24 hour scuba-thon to help raise funds for the Girl Guides to attend the World centenary camp in the UK which is being held to mark 100 years of girl Guiding.


 


The aim is to have a minimum of 2 divers in the pool for the 24 hour period. Each diver will be in the pool for ½ hour at a time with a diver changeover every 15 minutes. There will also be a chance to have a go at a try dive too. These will take place on Friday from 1pm to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 11am.


 


Your support for this worthwhile event means Ascension Island will be represented in this once in a lifetime occasion.


 


PLACE      Travellers Hill swimming pool


WHEN    This Friday 21st May 12.00 midday To Saturday 22nd May 12.00 midday


A donation of £10 per diver taking place.


£5 for a try dive.
