Feeding the five thousand

It is amazing what God can do with the  little we give him to share with others.  We may not think that we have very much to offer God but he will accept the little we have and multiply it a hundred times as he did when he fed the five thousand using the boy’s lunch of five loaves of bread and two fish.

What the boy had in his possession that day was just sufficient to feed one person but he willingly presented it to Jesus.  A small gift but Jesus used it to feed the thousands of people.

We know that God can do wonderful things and if we are opened handed with our small gifts he will use it as he did with his five loaves and two fish.

Have a pleasant week.

Canon Clive.
