Where were you born? - Cambridge, the maternity hospital was a former work house.

What is your middle name?

Anne.   My parents thought it would be fitting to have the initials CAM bearing in mind the city where I was born.

How old do you feel?

Younger since I have been to Ascension

In another life what would you like to be or do?

I always thought men had a better deal. Now I am not so sure…..

How long have you lived on Ascension?

2 months

Where is your favourite place on Ascension and why?

Hummock point, at sunset watching the noddies, frigates  and boobies return to land for the night. The barren beauty of the colour gradient on the slopes is stunning as the light fades.

What is your favourite meal?

Something I have not had to cook myself with lots of fresh salad.

What is your favourite time of day?

Early morning before it gets hot, when there is a cool freshness in the air.

Who do you consider to be an island hero and why?
Great question. Can I choose several, those people who voluntarily teach others to dive.

Which famous person would you like to meet?

Barack Obama

Which fictional character would you like to meet?

King Lear. I would like to see if he would do things differently with hindsight.
