Ascension : News from St Mary's Church
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 24.04.2008 (Article Archived on 08.05.2008)

Mervyn Isaac and Clarence Roberts were given their Lay Minister’s licence when Bishop John visited Ascension Island last year.

We are very fortunate in having two dedicated people in this important position in the Church and look forward to their continued work in this Parish.

Bishop John also made an announcement when he was here that a set of Liturgical Vestments will be donated to the Parish.  These Vestments have been received and we are extremely grateful to Bishop John and the Diocese for this donation
