Ascension : News From St.Marys
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 17.04.2008 (Article Archived on 01.05.2008)

Sometime ago we had a young ram running around in Georgetown.

Sometime ago we had a young ram running around in Georgetown. At a glance one could see that he was keen to make friends and developed a sense of belonging.

In St. John ‘s Gospel we read about Jesus the Good Shepherd and his wonderful promises he made to those who belonged to him. He promised that none of them would be lost and no one would succeed in snatching from his care sheep that has been entrusted to him.

We all know the feeling of belonging and the love and care it brings.  Jesus loves and cares for us and invites us to belong to him by listening to his voice and following him.

Love and Prayers.
Canon Clive.
