Yet another week into the New Year – It is almost February already! Well here are some little known facts about cockroaches that can use to fascinate your friends!
Did you know: A cockroach can live for 9 days without its head before it dies of starvation!
A cockroach is believed to be the only creature that could survive a nuclear explosion!
No wonder there are so many of the pests around!

A recipe for you to cook.
Cockroach Cookies
You will need: 40g margarine
40g caster sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
50g porridge oats
40g Self Raising flour
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
25g raisins
What to do
Beat together the margarine, castor sugar and golden syrup until smooth.
Add oats, flour and nutmeg. Mix well
Stir in raisins.
Place small balls of mix well spaced out on lightly greased baking trays. Flatten slightly with your hand.
Bake for 10-12 mins at 180C.
Cool on a baking tray before eating.
Enjoy the crunchy bits!!!
