Ascension : BROWNIE GUIDE ENROLLMENT
Submitted by The Islander (Shari Parkhill) 29.11.2007 (Article Archived on 13.12.2007)

On Monday, November 19, 2007, the enrollment ceremony was held at the Children’s Church in Georgetown, for seven new Brownies. The girls proved that they were ready to be Brownie Guides and that they knew their Promise, Law and Motto.

Proud parents and family members looked on as the girls were each brought forward by our senior Brownie Ellen Coverdale, to the Owls, Shari Parkhill, Claire Leo, and Jackie Magill, and our Assistant Commissioner, Elizabeth Hill. They received their Promise pin and were welcomed into the 1st Ascension Brownie Guide Pack.  Barn Owl (Claire) and Woodsy Owl (Jackie) also made their Promise and received their Brownie Guider pins.

The girls have been very busy already this year at Brownies.

They are all very enthusiastic and helpful.  We are all looking forward to a great year at Brownies.  Following the ceremony juice and cakes were enjoyed.

The following girls were enrolled: Megan Benjamin, Nicole Benjamin, Keira Francis, Rosa Guild, Brandi Leo, Robyn Minto and Ebony Stevens.
