Ascension : Bonfire Night
Submitted by The Islander (Nathan Prince) 18.10.2007 (Article Archived on 01.11.2007)

We have purchased (c/o Scouts & RAF Welfare) a large selection of Fireworks for this years Bonfire Night.

This Firework display will require quite a lot of organization and setting up and for various reasons, we feel it would be better to hold the display on the following Sat night 10th Nov (non flight night) rather than on a week night (5th). We would have a bar, music, food and light necklaces etc all for sale on the night.

We hope folk will understand this but should anyone have a major objection to switching the Bonfire Night to Sat 10th, could they please let me know as soon as possible.    N.J.H.
