Ascension : From The Editors
Submitted by The Islander (Paul Knowles) 24.05.2007 (Article Archived on 07.06.2007)

Dear Readers, Apologies to contributors who tried to email their articles in to us only to find that the mail box was full; this was due to somebody sending 2 emails totalling 20MB.

As this has happened in the past can I remind contributors that the maximum size for email contributions is 1MB otherwise please send your articles in by disc, or place a printed copy in The Islander post box. We greatly appreciate all the articles that people send in but in this instance one person’s article prevented anyone else from sending articles in.

We hope you enjoy this week’s edition.
All the best.

Paul & Catherine

Dear Islander readers
I arrived last Thursday on the sailing vessel Europa and spent two enjoyable
days on Ascension. If any of the readers of the Islander took a picture of
the EUROPA approaching Ascension still under sail, I would greatly appreciate
a copy. I can be reached under ussteiner@freesurf.ch. I do have plenty of
pictures of the ship in the harbour with the sails furled.
Thank you very much and all the best to you all. Best regards
Urs Steiner
