Last Sundat the 25th of Mar 07, O.B.G.C held the Monthly Medal, not a great turnout only 10 players, but there were other things going on that morning,

even allowing for small turnout the day went well, the two ball pool was not won, so we held a chip off onto the 18th green, 10 balls in pool, so it was

decided nearest to pin 7 balls and second closest 3 balls, well done to Dover runner up, but winner on the day Fred Bennett, well done to you both.

The medal competition was fiercely fought, in runner up position this month, was cheerful chappie Patrick "littlebits" Moyce with a very good nett 67,

although the winner this month, with a very good nett 63 was our own handicap secretary Paul Edwards, no doubt cut himself accordingly.

This was followed by a little liquid refreshment and some lovely spare ribs, supplied by our very own METMAN, Dave Strachan, thanks Dave.

This coming Saturday evening, the Golf Club will be holding Fun-night, HORSE RACING EVENING.

This is open to everyone, not just members, free entry, free food, a most enjoyable evening for everyone and It wont cost you much, get into teams

buy those horses, have a bet, mostly enjoy yourselves, this will happen on Saturday 31st Mar 07 at 1930hrs, so come along to O.B.G.C., this

coming Saturday you know it makes sense, 10% of all profits are going to the A.D.F. so come along and give your support.

Sunday the 8th of April 07, the golf club is hosting the GARY "STERN" THOMAS, TEXAS SCRAMBLE, TWO PERSON TEAMS, SHOTGUN START AT 0830HRS.

This will be followed by presentation, loads of prizes, music with local lads, free food, possibly happy hour, and a Golf Club raffle, mixed selection of prizes, HAMPER,

CD,S BRANDY GLASSES, SPIRITS, WINE, GOLF BALLS, NECKLACE AND EARING SET, TO NUMEROUS TO MENTION, SO GET THIS IN THE DIARY, see you

all there on the day.
