8 Individuals & 3 teams have already risen to the challenge..…can you?


It doesn’t have to be about racing or getting a great time it can simply be about entering and getting to the finish line.  That alone will guarantee you a free BBQ in the Officers’, Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess at Travellers Hill.  If you entered the Dew Pond Run and made it to the finish then you will be fit enough to enter the Ascension Island Triathlon.    The course will be as follows:


750 Metres Sea Swim - in English Bay close to the shore with safety boats and lifeguards in attendance


20 Kilometres Bike Ride - along a route from English Bay through Georgetown, the USAF Base and to Travellers Hill, avoiding any serious hills


5 Kilometres Run - from Travellers Hill towards Command Hill and return to the finish line at the gym, again mostly over flat ground
