Ascension : News From St Mary's Church

It was very disappointing that only one person turned up for the meeting which had been called on Monday evening, 21 November to elect a committee for the Ascension Day Fair 2007.
I propose to call another meeting on Monday 11 December 2006. I trust that you will be able to attend and give support to this annual fund raising event for St. Mary's Parish.
Looking through the Islander the past couple of weeks and what will be taking place in the Clubs during December, it is also time to let you know what the Calendar for St. Mary's Parish will be for the month.
Sunday 3 December will be Eucharist instead of a Family Service. The Family Service will be on Christmas Eve at 10.30 am. There will be two additional services, Sunday 10 December at 7pm an Advent Carol Service and on Sunday 31 December, Lessons and Carols, 7 pm.
