In accordance with Schedule 1 (Section 8, 2.(1) of the Island Council (Ascension) Ordinance 2002, registration forms have been circulated.

On receipt of all submissions, a preliminary list has been drawn up and published. Copies of the list have been placed on the official Government notice boards in the Islander Building and, if you consider yourself to be eligible, you are advised to check that your name has been included.
If you believe that you are entitled to be registered as an elector, but your name has been omitted you may apply for inclusion within fourteen days of the publication of the list.
Alternately if your name is included on the list but you do not wish to be registered as an elector you may, within the same period, apply by way of objection for the removal of your name from the list.
The deadline for additions/objections to the Preliminary List is 31st October 2006.
