Ascension : Yuk – What’s that Muck?

A growing number of people in Two Boats, particulary the children, have noticed and complained to me about an increase in the amount of dog poop they have to avoid when walking along the roads and paths in the village. The waste ground leading up to the school is particularly bad. As well as creating an obstacle course for walkers and not being very attractive if you step in it, it can be a health risk.

There are many ways to help keep the village poop clear.  Please take plastic bags with you to pooper scoop the poop and then take it home, remembering to wash you hands when you get there.

Many people who walk their dogs round the village do scoop the poop and we thank them for doing so.  Please can the other dog walkers follow suit and scoop the poop.

Everyone would benefit and appreciate a much cleaner environment.

Many thanks from all the children at the school.

Yours sincerely,

Soo Matthews

Headteacher
