Library Opening Hours

Please see revised opening times below – they are in bold and underlined.

Monday            10am – 12pm

Wednesday     5:30pm – 7:00pm

Thursday         2pm – 4pm

Friday              CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Saturday          10am – 12pm

The library is now also open on Mondays and Thursdays between 12:30 and 1:15pm.  Please note this is also the time when the children use the library so it will be a little busy!

Volunteers Needed

If you have some time to spare and would like to volunteer in the library please contact Soo Matthews at school on 6155 or email soo.matthews@ascension.gov.ac. Training on the computer package will be provided.

We especially need people to cover the Wednesday and Friday slots 5:30 – 7pm.

Changes in the Library

Charges

Please note that we no longer charge

o       A fee for joining the library.

o       Fines for overdue books.

If these have put you off coming to the library in recent months then worry no longer.

Books

We have recently added over 200 books to our collection in a wide range of genres and authors, with a good mix of fiction and non-fiction.  Why not come along and see what’s new on offer.

Internet Access

Want to do some research on the internet but don’t have access at home?  Why not come to the library and use our computers for free?  Thanks to Cable and Wireless we have broadband access to share with the public.

--------------------------------------------------------------

The library committee would like to thank all those members of the public who have donated books in recent weeks.  They are very much appreciated.
