 Rev. Canon Clive Duncan, MBE.

Dear All,

We know that there are some people in the world who are reluctant to accept positions of responsibility which, in their opinion, is best left to the professionals.

The same cannot be said of the twelve that Jesus chose, they were ordinary men and not professionals.  We see how they responded to Jesus when the time came for him to involve them with his work.   They did not hesitate to show Jesus that they were ready to accept this important and demanding mission which he entrusted to them.   They had no desire to leave it to others.

God is still looking for workers in his Church today.  He is seeking our help to carry his message to the whole world.  If we respond positively to God's call, as the twelve did, our lives will be richly blessed by him.

Have a pleasant and enjoyable week

Canon Clive.
