Ascension : Freight Handling Rates

In June 2005, AIG reduced freight handling rates on Ascension, to be readdressed at 31 March 2006.

In June 2005, AIG reduced freight handling rates on Ascension, to be readdressed at 31 March 2006.
With effect 1st April 2006 and until 31st March 2007, rates have been amended as follows:

Full Containers unloading            £400.00                    £400.00                   £450.00

Empty containers loading            £150.00                    £200.00                   £300.00

Vehicle handling:                                                                                                        

Cars up to 14m³               £250.00 per vehicle      £250.00 per vehicle            £45.00 per m³

Trucks (over 14m³)       £250.00 per vehicle      £350.00 per vehicle              £45.00 per m³

Plant                               £250.00 per vehicle      £45.00 per m³                        £45.00 per m³

Un-containerised break

bulk                                         £45.00 per m³            £45.00 per m³            £45.00 per m³
The offer of 50% discount to cargo transhipped to St Helena through Ascension will no longer be in effect as a result of this service not being used.
