extremely friendly Island with 73 Royal Engineers (V).

Having just spent 3 glorious weeks in your wonderfull, peacefull and
extremely friendly Island with 73 Royal Engineers (V).

I to live on a small Island, Jersey in the Channel Islands, but I have never
been to such a diverse place such as the Ascension Island where I have
enjoyed every second of my time with so much to see and do (during my down
time).

I would like to publicly thank everyone who helped make our brief working
tour a success.
You are too numours to mention by name. However to the M.T. section, Plant,
Stores, chef's and Stores personnel I recieved nothing but helpfulness from
you all and I thank you again.

On a personal note to Noddy and Patric I now know that Tuna does not come
from cans on a shelf, and my arms no longer ache?

Here's hopeing that I can make a return journey soon.

My Best regards to everyone

SGT. Paul Davey
Royal Militia Island of Jersey
