Girl Guiding Ascension News

I am pleased to report that Mrs Elizabeth Hill, (The Administrators Wife) has agreed to take over the Ascension Island Association of Guides, Brownies, and Rainbows as assistant Commissioner. Mrs Hill has also received her Pre-Warrant License to allow her to run the Rainbow Guide Unit. She will be ably assisted by Mrs Sue Maxwell and daughter Lauren, until the return of Mrs Rosie Wade, a warranted guider, who will take over the Rainbows on her return from leave in March.

I wish our new leaders and everyone else in Girl Guiding on Ascension, a very happy and active year ahead.

Betty Joshua.

Outgoing Assistant Commissioner and Rainbow Guider
