Thursday of this week the Church Council will be meeting for the last time before the Easter Vestry Meeting.
Thursday of this week the Church Council will be meeting for the last time before the Easter Vestry Meeting. In addition to other items of business, the annual audited accounts for the year 2004 will be examined and if accepted, will be presented at the Vestry Meeting which will take place during the morning Mass on Sunday 10 April 2005. As a reminder the election of two Churchwardens, Alternate Warden and Parish Councilors will also take place at this meeting. Nomination Forms will be available from this Sunday.
Ascension Day Fair. The Ascension Day Fair Committee will be meeting on a regular basis to firm up dates for events leading up to the Fair. So far we have the motor rally on 10 April and a quiz night on 29 April. Dates of other planned events will be published in the Islander shortly. In the meantime if you have any suggestions to offer for the Fair please let us know as soon as possible.
