Ascension : Two Boats School Swimming Gala
Submitted by The Islander (Phillip Stevens) 31.03.2005 (Article Archived on 21.04.2005)

Last Thursday Two Boats School took over Travellers Hill pool for the 2005 swimming gala.

Last Thursday Two Boats School took over Travellers Hill pool for the 2005 swimming gala.   It was an excellent morning with all our participants eager to win and take the trophy for their house.  The scores were extremely close all morning and the atmosphere was tense as Johnny announced the winning team.  Beale just clinched the trophy with a grand total of 80 points, Huxley were second with 77 and Connelly third with an excellent 75.  Beale were delighted with this victory and having already claimed the sports day trophy, earlier in the school year, they are proving to be all round good sports!

A big thank you to the students for the co-operative behaviour and to everyone who helped make the day a success.
