Ascension : News From St. Mary's
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 23.03.2005 (Article Archived on 06.04.2005)

On that first Palm Sunday a procession made a slow entry into Jerusalem.

THE KING IS COMING.

On that first Palm Sunday a procession made a slow entry into Jerusalem. The good thing about it was that it was a procession where no demands were being made, only an enthusiastic crowd waving palm branches drawing attention to a person riding on an unbroken foal.

Here was their King, entering the city in a humble way.

Why not come and join us in the procession on Sunday morning to welcome Christ our King starting from outside the Police Office and then on to St. Mary's Church.

Have a pleasant week.

Canon Clive.
