Hello my name is Hannah.

I like Two Boats School because it has nice teachers, well done lessons, right periods of playtimes, nice children, and fun P.E. lessons. I have lots of friends, some of them are called: Jasmine, Grace, Georgina, Gemma, Eden and Shannon. My favourite lesson is maths, then art and design. My favourite lesson is maths because it’s not too easy and it’s not too hard, and it makes me think.

Hello  my  name is Gemma

I enjoy school and I enjoy maths.

I like maths because I find it fun and I understand it better than any of the other lessons.

I like adding and subtracting big numbers.

I enjoyed doing directions, like north south east and west and I also liked co-ordinates where I had to find the position of the letters on the grid.

Hello my name is Jamie and I am in Year 4.

I enjoy Design and Technology at school.

I have made photo picture frames and I have made a pop-up picture story book.

I made levers so that the pictures in my book

moved up and down and some popped up.

My story was about Dinosaurs

The pop up things were the trees and the a cloud, the egg and the Dinosaur worked by levers.

I enjoyed writing stories like fairytales, because I have fun when reading the stories.

We have looked at stories by Hans Christian Andersen because it is his 200^th. Anniversary this year.  In our Literacy lessons we looked at some of his stories.  We looked at the Ugly Duckling, The Emperor’s New Clothes and other stories.

I enjoy swimming because you can have lots of fun in the water.

I am learning some new strokes.

I like doing PE because my teacher makes it fun.

I like running around the field.

I like school because the teachers are kind, and the lessons are educational but fun. I also like school because of its sports, like swimming and sports day.

At school you get to make friends and see them.

Some of my friends are Grace, Hannah, Megan, Jack, Eden, Georgina and Gemma. My two favorite subjects at school are maths and art and design. My favorite thing that’s ever happened in school is when a Jugular came to school. He was so cool and that’s why I like school.

I enjoy school because we get fun activities and they help me to learn. In school we have play breaks and lunch breaks.

In the classroom when we work, we must concentrate on getting our work done.

I enjoy ICT which is all about computer work. For ICT I am doing branching data base and we are also learning about the Tudors.

I went on the internet to search for information about the Tudors and found out about how the rich people built their houses and how the poor people built their homes.

ICT is computer work. We learn about simulations and searched for information on the Internet.

Computers are machines that are very helpful.

My favourite simulation was the duck builder. We had to build a duck and make it fly. If we crashed we adjusted the duck’s wings and beak.

I enjoy Art and design because I do fun things like building picture frames. 

I designed my picture frame first.

I wrote how I was going to make it and what I was going to put on it.

I made it from card and put some patterns on it.

My stand was made out of card board.

I put sequins on it to make it look pretty.

I enjoy design and technology. 

I made a photo picture frame.

I designed it in my book and then I made it out of cardboard.

I made a stand for it so as it could stand up.

Duncan Stroud.

I enjoy Science because we do experiments and we cut and stick. My favourite part was when we learnt about healthy teeth.

The healthy foods are pasta, fish, bread, meat, vegetables and fruit.  All of these foods make you grow and give you energy.

We have three types of teeth in our mouth. One kind is the incisors; we bite with them so they are for cutting our food. The other is the canines they tear the food and the last is the molars and they are for chewing our food.

I enjoy ICT.  I liked experimenting with Simulations. I like Colin’s Coffee machine. I enjoyed when we had to decide how much sugar and milk we had to put in to make the coffee just right for Collin.   I also like printing out pictures and typing text.  I liked recording sounds using the computers.

I enjoy Two Boats School because we      

do fun lessons.

My favourite subjects are Maths then D.T. then Science.

I also like P.E. and Swimming Lessons.

I like Swimming because we can do

all sorts of strokes. I like P.E. because you can do fun games.

I enjoy Design and Technology.

The things that I enjoy about Design and Technology most is we get to design lots of fun things in our books.  We write the method on how to make the things that we designed. 

We have made a pop-up book and a picture frame.  My pop-up story book was about the sea side.  I made levers to make the pictures pop-up.
