Notice from the Administrator

 

VISITS TO ASCENSION ISLAND BY HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR

 

His Excellency Mark Capes, Governor of Ascension Island, will be visiting the Island on 27 April and between 14 – 17 May. The Governor’s first visit start when the RMS St Helena arrives and will enable him to meet the Island Council and other Island leaders before departing for the United Kingdom on the RAF Airbridge.

 

The Governor’s visit in May will be his first official visit to the Island as Governor and will afford him many opportunities to meet the Community and conduct official business.  Details of his programme will be released nearer the time.  The Administrator would welcome expressions of interest in the Governor’s presence at events being held by community and volunteer groups.
