Formula 1 Driver, Miss Fisichella, started The Sugar Bowl, although taking a break this week from competing after her sterling (or is that rolling) efforts last week. Her comeback will have passed by now as she did the OBGC Cross Country on Saturday.
Some 11 participants took part, with Wookie the Rookie making it a 100% PSD effort, all the PSD guys are now assured of playing every Thursday afternoon as they now do their ‘Phys’ on Wednesday mornings – alright for some (what a hard life you lead Ian).
So The Toastie is the first to win three weeks on the trot and flys out to the UK with The Treble behind him. Will this ever be achieved again we all wonder? (Although to remind all readers that United did it 1999!)
It has been decided to give TSB Trophy a rest for a while. When Scuffer finally got his hands on the coveted TSB, did he bother to make any changes! He’s joining the Gary Preston ‘I’m Not Going To Improve It’ club. For the forthcoming future ‘The Jesters Hat’ will be presented to the winning captain, he/she has to wear the hat during the round the following week.
The first recipient of the hat was Stan Buchan who led his team, comprising of Claire, Toastie and Paul T to a convincing victory on a difficult Back 9. Obviously the 212 foot putt that Paul made on the 15th was a contributory fact to their victory; but there is bad news for Paul – the RSPCA have been making enquiries with regards to a sheep being hit on the 10th fairway.
What has happened to The Tiger, will he go a third week with no certificate? Belated birthday wishes John.
Hopefully there might be up to 20 participants next week – we’ll leave it to Brendan to invite CBF SAI.
Further to last weeks issue I can report that Gary did stay awake for the cup final but he severely wimped out on the Friday evening and was back in his room by 9 o’clock leaving the undersigned to pass some slight glances on the welsh female species.
That’s about all for now folks, keep on practising and playing with your balls. More tales next week.
