“Sodexo Defence has a vacancy for a Site Services Assistant to work with their Multi Activity Contract on Ascension Island.

It is essential that the applicant should have experience in working in an Office environment & be computer literate.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Main Office, supporting the Head of Services as well as unit supervisors and staff, to effectively and accurately complete all office administration duties. Deal with personnel issues and assist in the training program as directed by the Head of Services. Ensure that the facility runs strictly within the Health and Safety Act and COSHH regulations. Provide the first point of contact for the client.

You will be responsible to the Head of Services, Ascension Island

The contract is single status and contracted hours are forty per week.  The salary is £8000 per annum and food and accommodation will be provided.

The successful applicant should be prepared to undergo a security clearance which includes a character reference.
