A large crowd of eager hashers gathered at the Dive Club to see what kind of a hash Man Beater and Baggage Boy had set this week. However, most of the hounds were visibly disappointed when they heard that the hash was a relatively short and easy one. Baggage Boy briefed the hounds; hazards this week included larva flow, slippy rocks, rock pools and brown noddies. One route for all and four circle checks. The on-on was called and the FRBs headed off towards the larva flow led by 100 Watt. That was the last we saw of him.
After negotiating the larva flow everyone regrouped at the first circle check, surprisingly unscathed (even Rio). The route led the hounds to the Ladies Loo and then back along the coast to the Dive Club. Along the way we passed several blow holes, interesting rock pools and nesting seabirds. We joined the track beneath the new wind turbines, past the Klinka Club and on to the Dive Club.
Hash business this week included a boot burning for Nip ‘n’ Suck, Lanky, Little Chuffer and Madam Mardy Pants. After a few failed attempts in the strong wind, Baggage Boy finally managed to get a fire going. All four pairs of boots were thrown on to the fire. We would like to say a big thank you to the Hiorns family for their contribution to the hash over the last four years. They will be greatly missed.

Next week: Baggage Boy and Man Beater from the World War II Hydroponics Site on Donkey Plain.
