Dr Mark Lambert who works for the Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA) also joined us last week to assess the rodent control methods being used on the Island.

Ascension Explorers

Last week was the first trip out for Explorers group this summer. The children were taken to the Dew Pond to look at the endemic plants. Everyone enjoyed the muddy walk and the groups did very well answering their activity sheets. (Please note: children under the age of 7 yrs wishing to attend must be accompanied by an adult).

We are looking for used drink cans (not crushed) for our endemic plants. If anyone is able to save cans please let us know so we can collect them.
