Submitted by The Islander (Islander Editors) 05.08.2010 (Article Archived on 19.08.2010)

A small group of hashers met at the guns on Cross Hill and were briefed by Uncle Transvestite.

Hash Trash 1319

Hares: Uncle Transvestite and Big Bender

Hounds: Man Beater, Baggage Boy, Nip ‘n’ Suck, Lanky, Little Chuffer, Madam Mardy Pants, Messy Queen, Over and Done With, Wobbly Bits, Moaning Angel, Hot and Sticky.

Apres: Trouser Snake Charmer, Itchy Ring.

A small group of hashers met at the guns on Cross Hill and were briefed by Uncle Transvestite. We were advised to take water due to the hot afternoon sun, which seems to have been lacking over the last few weeks. Two routes had been set – an extended one for the FRBs, who were led by Big Bender.

The on-on was called and the FRBs led the group down the steps to the track, then down the side of the hill to the football pitch. The hounds followed the hash past the football pitches, weaving in between the Mexican Thorn bushes. Then along the track towards Comfortless Cove. Big Bender led the group all the way, calling back to Lanky ‘come on Sir’. Lanky did his best to keep up, managing very well despite the differences in age and leg length.

The route took the FRBs back down the track again to Cross Hill. The FRBs watched the WATs finish the last bit, back up the Hill to the guns. Some well deserved cold drinks were waiting.

Next week: SUNDAY 8th August. 1630

Paradise Beach Bungalow, Georgetown.

Bring BBQ food. Last hash for Catherine, Daniel and Abigail.

Hares: Big Bender and Lanky.
