Entry Visas for South Africa

Recently there has been some concern from the public with regard to visas for South Africa.

The Immigration section of the Police Department would like to advise and assure the public that holders of a British passport and a passport which is endorsed “British Dependent Territories Citizen” or “British Overseas Territories Citizen” will not require a visa for entry into South Africa.  Persons entering South Africa on these passports will be allowed to stay for up to 90 days (which is the normal procedure) before requiring a visa.
