My apologies for printing the ‘wrong back page’ on the Ascension Day Fair Craft Show Program. The times and conditions are as follows!!
Rules and conditions
(The not too small but important print)
Only amateurs may enter the show.
Strictly one entry per person per class.
Children’s classes are the age at time of entry.
Exhibits already having won a prize in this show cannot be re-entered.
Names must not be shown, if so items may be disqualified.
All classes must be bona fide work of the exhibitor.
The room will be open for staging between 12 and 1pm prompt.
Judging will commence at 1.15pm.
Only judges and stewards will be allowed in the hall while judging takes place.
Judges decisions are final – any complaints may be made in writing.
Points and prizes are awarded to class winners as follows –
1st 5 points £1.50, 2nd 3 points £1, 3rd 1 point 50p.

Trophies are awarded for each section. Points are awarded and totalled from all classes to award the ‘overall’ trophy.
The show closes at 4.30pm to the public, exhibitors are asked not to remove their exhibits before this time, doing so may forfeit any prize money and points.
Trophies and winnings will be awarded after the auction.
Any exhibits remaining after 5.30 without prior arrangement may be auctioned for ADF!
Sponsors are welcome for all classes.
Cost of entries: children’s section free. All other classes 20p.
While all reasonable care will be taken of exhibits, it must be understood that exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk. The show will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any article staged.
