Aircraft Handler/TMEC Assistant

Serco Defence, Science and Technology have a vacancy for an Aircraft Handler/TMEC Assistant at Ascension Island Base. Applicants should be aware they would be on-call some weeks and will be required to work flexible hours which may include weekends and public holidays. The post is unaccompanied status

The Successful Candidate will receive:

• Specialist training as required


• A competitive tax paid annual salary


• A salary increase following a successful 3-month of a 6 month period  probationary

• Free food and accommodation


• 25 working days paid holiday and 8 days public holiday per year


• One paid holiday fare to either the UK or St.Helena per year


• An annual allowance paid in monthly increments towards a second holiday entitlement


• Uniform and work clothes.

Interested candidates will need to:

·         Show confidence in dealing with the public

·         Possess a good standard of education

·         Be IT Literate

·         Be physically fit

·         Possess the ability to work with a close knit team

·         Hold a full driving licence
