The Saints Members Club on Ascension Island will shortly be seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to fulfil the post of Club Manager.
The post will be offered as either single or accompanied status and the successful applicant will be expected to complete a satisfactory 3 month probationary period which will in turn, be followed by an offer of a 2 year contract.
Any offer of employment will be conditional on passing a medical examination.
A full job description is available on request but some of the core duties are as follows:
* Ensure effective day-to-day operation of the club. You will be
required to coordinate the entire operation of the SMC with the assistance of the Club Committee.
* Have an overview of club financial status.
* Promote and maintain the good social standing of the SMC.
* Responsible for increasing sales and organising regular club
functions.
* Ensuring that high standards of customer service are met.
* Supervise the Finance Clerk, kitchen, bar and cleaning staff.
In addition, other reasonable duties may be requested by the SMC Committee.
Work Experience
This is a vital role where a minimum of three years recent and relevant practical experience in club management is paramount. Exceptional leadership and customers service skills are essential in the running of this independent Club.
The salary for the post will depend on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, accommodation will be provided and a single allowance of £2508.00 or married/accompanied allowance of £5016.00 per annum will be paid.
