Where were you born? Cambridge

           


What is your middle name?


            I was named after my Grandfather


How old do you feel?


            Today was bad, but it depends on how much hiking I’ve been doing.


How long have you lived on Ascension?


            Over 7 years.


What did your school report say?


             Talks too much.


In another life what would you be or do?


I’d like to be independently wealthy so that I could travel the world.*


Do you have an ambition?


            See above.


Where is your favourite spot on Ascension and why?


            Any beach where I can watch the sunset.


What has been your proudest moment?


            I’m proud of who my children have become.


What is your favourite meal?


            Probably have to say spaghetti.


Are you afraid of anything?


            Heights and cockroaches.


Which famous person do you admire?


            Mother Theresa.


How would you describe yourself in three words?


            Busy, busy, busy.


Do you have a trademark phrase or look?


            No.


Which essential item could you not do without?


            My family photos.


What are you reading at the moment?


            The River at the Centre of the World (a journey up the Yangtze and back in Chinese time).


Where do you see yourself in ten years time?


            I’ll probably still be here but see * above!


Who do you consider to be an island hero and why?


            All the island volunteers

            Amazing Grace


Which Islander would you invite to dinner?


            I’ve probably had dinner with most people at some time!
