Paul Blessington, Government Economist, has been selected for the post of Financial Secretary within the St Helena Government. He was one of 62 people expressing an interest in the post and will take up this appointment very shortly.

In his new role, Paul will have overall responsibility for financial management within the St Helena Government. He will become a member of the Executive and Legislative Council and will take the lead in advising SHG on financial matters during his three year contract.
