In accordance with the Registration of Electors Regulations 2008 made under The Island Government (Ascension) Ordinance 2008,
REGISTER OF ELECTORS 2009
In accordance with the Registration of Electors Regulations 2008 made under The Island Government (Ascension) Ordinance 2008, a Provisional Register of Electors was drawn up and published on the official notice board outside the Administrator’s Office on 7thof October 2009. Members of the public were previously advised to check their name had been correctly included in the Provisional Register of Electors and were also advised how to apply to have the Provisional Register of Electors amended.
After 14 days of the date on which the Provisional Register of Electors was published no applications for amendments was received. No appeals having been made to the magistrates Court within 7 days of any decision to amend being taken, you are hereby notified that the Final Register of Electors is now published on the official notice board in accordance with Regulation 8 of the Registration of Electors Regulations 2008.
