1ST ASCENSION GIRLGUIDING FUNDRAISING

The Irton Moor Charities Fund

At The Residency in October, Richard and Marion Kilsby of CSO, (friends from the good old days) and I were having a little update about what the youth were doing nowadays.  So, like you do you tell them about the Girl Guides fundraising, and low and behold, Richard without any hesitation said he might be able to help through CSO’s Central Charities Committee called The Irton Moor Charities Fund in the UK.

Three weeks later I had an e-mail from Richard saying £500.00 was on its way to our Fund and will be brought in by one of his bosses, Mr. Rob Magowan on 26 November.  Friday 27th November, at 3 p.m. a little presentation took place at CSO by Rob and Richard who presented me with the £500.00 cheque.

The 1st Ascension Girlguiding Unit would like to say A HUGE THANK YOU to The Central Charities Committee in the UK also Rob and Richard for this brilliant donation.
