Interserve Defence on Ascension Island requires the services of a Refrigeration Mechanic/Electrician, Trainee Electrician and General Operative (POL) to work on the Ascension Island Base. 

·        A competitive salary will be paid. Overtime rates and a call out allowance where applicable.

·        Hours of work are 45 hours Monday to Friday plus 5 hours on alternate Saturdays.   

·        Contract duration is 12 months single status.

·        Educate to GCSE level or equivalent.

·        Holds a valid Driving Licence.

·        Tradesmen are required to have suitable qualifications or 3 years relevant experience.

·        Willingness to undertake training and continue personal development.

·        Has good health and safety knowledge and applies it during work.

·        Passes a medical examination and criminal background checks.

·        Trainee must be 18 yrs or over.

Job Facts – REFRIGERATION MECHANIC/ELECTRICIAN

Carry out planned/response maintenance and new works on various plant and systems such as LV distribution, hazardous areas, fire alarm systems, air conditioning units, domestic and commercial refrigeration and electrical equipment.
