ASCENSION: 
The settled spell continuing with only isolated showers and plenty of sunshine.
 
ST. HELENA: 
A mainly fine week with over 30 hours of sunshine and just a few showers.
 
UK: 
The unsettled weather persists back north with further heavy rain at times.
 
FALKLANDS:
Of course, the weather down south dominated last week with knock on effects for the whole Airbridge. It started as a bitterly cold, southerly airflow from the Antarctic Peninsular became established across the Drake Passage on Monday.
Becoming increasingly unstable and picking up moisture as it crossed the ocean, it deposited some of the heaviest snow in living memory over the Falkland Islands for the next 48 hours.
This, coupled with strong winds and sub-zero temperatures combined to produce blizzard conditions across the Islands with 43cm of level snow at MPA producing drifts over 1 metre deep in places.
By the end of the week drier, less cold weather had returned from the northwest but the snow will take some time to melt!
