Ascension : ASCENSION MAGISTRATES’ COURT

The following cases were heard in the Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 30th April 2009:-

                                                                    

The following cases were heard in the Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 30th April 2009:-

 

ALROY GENE IAN FULLER, aged 27, pleaded Guilty to a charge of fear or provocation of violence.

 

The Court heard that the charge arose from an incident which occurred at Two Boats Club, on Sunday 29th March 2009.

 

Mr Fuller, who was represented by Lay Advocate Mrs Georgina Benjamin, was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £155.

 

DONOVAN GEORGE THOMAS, aged 46, pleaded Guilty to a charge of fear or provocation of violence.

 

The Court heard that the charge arose from an incident which occurred at Two Boats Club, on Sunday 29th March 2009.

 

Mr Thomas, who was represented by Lay Advocate Mr Nicholas Hobson, was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £155.

 

ERROL FREDERICK HERNE, aged 48, pleaded Guilty to a charge of driving with excess alcohol.

 

The Court heard that the charge arose from an accident which occurred on a road near Command Hill, on Sunday 18th January 2009.

 

Mr Herne, who was represented by Lay Advocate Mr Nicholas Hobson, was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £400.  He was disqualified from driving Class A vehicles for a period of 15 months.
