Ascension : Ladybird’s Christmas Raffle

Ladybird’s Preschool Activity Group raised ₤384.00 in their Christmas Raffle.

 


Ladybird’s Preschool Activity Group raised ₤384.00 in their Christmas Raffle.  Proceeds will be equally divided between: The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, The St. Helena Hospital Trust Fund & The Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital Trust in Oxford.  In addition ₤200.00 was also donated specifically for The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.


 


Donations for the raffle were gratefully received from June’s Gift Shop, The Water Shed, Solomon’s Georgetown Shop, The Ascension Island Government, C.S.O. Turners FM, Eurest, Cable and Wireless, Merlin, CSR, Obsidian Group Limited, and Mr. Tony Green.


 


Thank you also to the individual who made a generous donation for The Nelson Mandela Fund.


 


Finally, many thanks to all those who gave their time in helping to sell raffle tickets, especially: Pam at The Turtlenest; Angie at Joyce’s Shoe Shop; Reflections; The Welfare Shop; June’s Gift Shop; Shirley at the hospital; Carrie at Cable and Wireless; Susan at Merlin, the Conservation Centre, and all those connected with Ladybirds who sold tickets and donated food items for the Christmas hamper.
