PAINTER/FINISHER

Serco Defence, Science and Technology have a vacancy for Painter/Finisher. Tasks include but are not limited to, dry media stripping, paint spraying, the complete refurbishment and repair of Ground Equipment and MT vehicles, general corrosion control and the manufacture of signs.

The successful candidate will receive:

• A competitive, tax paid annual salary


• A salary increase following a successful 3-month of a 6 month period  probationary


• Free food and accommodation

• 25 working days holiday and 8 days public holiday per year


• One paid holiday fare to either the UK or St Helena per year


• An annual allowance paid in monthly increments towards a second holiday travel entitlement

• Uniform and working clothes


• Training as required

Interested candidates will need to:

·         Have  excellent team working skills

·          Have a good standard of education

·         Have a calm, confident manner and temperament

·         Hold a full clean driving licence

·         Be confident and flexible in attitude

·         Be physically fit

·         Be willing to learn

·         Be prepared to undergo a security clearance check
