Ascension : Mystery Interview

Where were you born? St Helena

 

What is your middle name?

Roderick. When I was getting married I discovered that this is a family name as my great great grandfather was from Scotland and was in St Helena with the whaling boats.

How old do you feel?

50-55 years

In another life what would you like to be or do?

 A Social Worker

How long have you lived on Ascension?

5  years

What is your favourite spot on Ascension and why?

Travellers Hill Mess Hall chatting over a meal

What did your school report say?

I didn’t have one, I left at 15 and became an apprentice gardener.

What is your favourite meal?

Roast Lamb and vegetables.

What is your favourite time of day?

Early afternoon I enjoy a siesta.

What famous person would you like to meet?

Tony Blair when he was Prime Minister

What fictional character (s) would  you like to meet?

.Norman Wisdom

Would you rather be a fish or a bird?

A bird

How would you describe yourself?

I am ambitious and like to see the results of all my hard work, the fruits of my labours.

Do you have a trademark phrase or look?

 I like wearing red
